韩 Korean BBQ

my belated birthday feast with my family,

together with the celebration of Mother's Day.

my second attempt of Korean cuisines.

first time is at Seoul Garden, City Square.

for me is not really worthy as the variety of choices are less.

this time i tried another Korea Restaurant at Taman Molek, Johor Bahru.

frankly speaking,

it was a very good experience aside the slight mistakes of workers.

the owners are Koreans with fluent English speaking.

they have 2 branches at the same areas

but slightly different interior design..

anyway,

we ordered a pork set with additional of a traditional dish, spicy rice cake ( tteokbokki, 拉炒年糕 )

first grade pork were served, RM 85+

i must say the food here is not cheap

this set is actually for 2 peoples.

luckily my family are more to vege-people rather than meat lover.

this set is just enough for us.

i guess the workers still not skillful enough to handle all customers with right priority.

they forgot to serve us tea which supposed to serve right after the order,

the customers who came after were served before us

& the delay of serving kept us waiting for quite a long time.

but by just looking at the side dishes, it was enough to wash away our unsatisfactory

more than 10 different side dishes to serve & it's foc!

hehe.. so here i am to fill my stomach.

i'm always proud with my chopstick skill :)

right after the appetizers

we had the spicy rice cake!

i mean it, the spiciness can make you spit fire.

but i just can't stop eating it as the spiciness stimulate my appetite at the same time.

Last but not least，

here came our main dish, the meat set!

the waiter helped us to grill the meat while we enjoying other food.

the meat set is served together with lettuce.

white rice is not come together with the set.

the sauces are prepared as well.

they have chillies, garlic, sesame oil, sour chili sauce and sweet sauce.

but the pork ribs, neck and loins are fresh enough to eat without adding any sauces

can't wait to try it!

we spent RM 115+ including 10% service charge for 5 peoples.

It is reasonable enough for those who didn't eat much.

After all,

I will visit again during any special occasions.
